umm... no... the DRM is so that OS X knows that it is an Apple box, not to exclude other OSs from running on it. Apple has every insentive to give you that freedom... as long as you buy their hardware.

It's all likely FUD. If not what's MS waiting for? Why don't they show the world the patents being infringed? Microsoft don't need to "show the world the patents being infringed", because, like it or not, patents are legal (in USA at least) and are to respect.
