Pit-stop turns into career opportunity
FAIRMONT - Driving back from Sioux Falls, S.D., for a job interview, Troy Nemmers made a pit-stop in Fairmont so his little girl could use the bathroom. His wife, Wendy, remembered she had seen an advertisement online for a city engineer/public works director in Fairmont. Since they were already in town, the Nemmers and their daughters, ages 4 and 1, decided to check out the community.
