5:10 p.m.: Ten area teams in OHSAA computer ratings
If the Ohio High School Athletic Association football playoffs began this week, 10 area teams would be participating. Those 10 and two other area teams are among those ranked in the first OHSAA computer ratings of the season. The ratings were released on Thursday. 4:55 p.m.: Man indicted in LaBrae computer thefts
WARREN - A technical coordinator for the LaBrae school district was indicted Thursday on two counts of theft in office by a Trumbull County Common Pleas Court grand jury. Joseph Beeson, 39, of Duck Creek Road in North Jackson was indicted on a direct presentment and an investigation is still ongoing, said Warren Township Police Lt. Donald Bishop.
