FEMA center at Ellington
A FEMA registration center is available for those in need after hurricane Ike in the American Legion Hall near Ellington Field. The center is open for the remainder of this week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. There are 200 computers and 200 phones available as well as a small concession area. People are allowed to use the Internet and phones to register with FEMA, check e-mail, and contact family members.
