Iinet buys Westnet for $81m in cash
Telecommunications provider Iinet Ltd has agreed to buy Westnet Pty Ltd, Australia's sixth largest internet provider, for $81 million in cash. To fund the acquisition, Iinet raised $41 million by selling 25.6 million new shares at $1.60 each to investor clients of Euroz Securities Ltd.
