Media watchdog urges Cairo to free blogger
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) on Monday called on the Egyptian authorities to release a blogger arrested while covering a strike at a textile plant. Kareem al-Beheiri was arrested on April 6 at the Misr Spinning and Weaving company, where he worked, in the industrial city of Mahalla after riots left three people dead and hundreds detained.
