BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Billionaire investor Carl Icahn on Friday said in a letter to Yahoo Inc. that he continues to stand by his characterization of the Internet company's "poison pill" severance plan and intends to work with the company's board to replace the severance plan with an alternative.
