During the MacWorld keynote Steve Jobs introduced various new products. Jobs started off with Time Capsule , an AirPort Extreme base station with an integrated hard drive, so you can use Time Machine wirelessly.

Taiwan recycled 2.66 billion, or 9,319 tons, of plastic bags via the garbage collection system from May 2006 to March this year, but the performance still has room for improvement as the annual recycling rate is less than 10 per cent, an Environmental Protection Administration (EAP) official said Tuesday.

Fresh on the heels of a delay in broad availability of Windows Vista , Microsoft confirmed late Thursday that it is also pushing the mainstream launch of Office 2007 to next year . As with Vista, Microsoft hopes to finish the code for Office 2007 this year.

Flipping the Linux switch: openSUSE, geeko of many colors
Please, allow me to explain. This week's FTLS was not at all what I intended it to be. For weeks now, I've been toying with idea of dual-booting a Debian based distro with a RPM based distro. Ubuntu Hardy (now reasonably mature enough for day to day use with minimal bork ups) was the obvious choice for a Debian flavor, as it already existed on my hard drive.
