Athens County department to receive new computers
The Department of Jobs and Family Services soon will have more access to technology when the department receives 14 new computers. At their meeting yesterday, Athens County Commissioners received two bids each from three local businesses to sell the computers to the department.

According to a Novell confidential memo dated June 14, Novell is delaying its next release of both the server and desktop versions of SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 "to address final issues with our new package management, registration, and update system and also fix the remaining blocker defects."
