"The first service pack for Windows Vista is slated for release to manufacturing in the first quarter of 2008. The announcement was made via Microsoft's Windows Window Vista Blog by Nick White, a product manager at Microsoft.

If you shout something loud enough and many people are saying it, does it become true? Some groups of people (include tech journalists and Linux advocates, such as Steven J. Vaughn-Nichols) have a psychological need to find Vista lacking.

I don't know what is new in Vista that would make me move from Linux or even MacOS, which had that before, to Vista. Vista only brings new copy of Aqua, some security fixes again Operating System whitout viruses and security holes.
