Recycling this week
The week of April 21 to April 25 is red recycling. Pick up will be delayed one day due to Patriot's Day on Monday. Residents are asked to have paper goods out by 6 a.m. on collection day. The recycling center at 500 Primrose St. is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents can pick up recycling bins for cardboard and paper, which cost $5 each, during those hours.

Annual store sales outpace the Internet at dELiA’s
The Internet now accounts for almost one-half of all sales at dELiA’s Inc., but stores were the fastest growing channel in 2007. For the year, store sales for dELiA’s, No. 90 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide , grew 16.5% to $98 million from $84.1 million in 2006. In comparison the web, which accounts for 49% of total sales, grew by 8% to $134.4 million in 2007 from $124.5 million in 2006.
