A sentence of roughly one to three years' jail is expected for a man who sold source code for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000. A Connecticut man has pleaded guilty in a US federal court to selling Microsoft source code over the Internet.

Starting Tuesday, the Microsoft will push out a test tool that checks whether the copy of Windows a PC is using is properly licensed. It will be sent to millions of people in the United States, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand.

I downloaded a few VMware images for use in VMware player. The mouse (a PS/2 type) did not work either in ReactOS or in Syllable, but did work in PC-BSD (all in VMware Player).
