Microsoft seeks path beyond Gates legacy
Bill Gates has retired, sort of. He is still only 52, and he is going off to spend more time guiding the worlds richest philanthropy, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He will still be Microsofts Chairman and largest shareholder, but Friday, June 27 was his last day as a full-time worker at the software giant he founded with Paul Allen in 1975.

I don't expect to see Ferro DRAM any time soon, it looks like one of those next year things (forever). First of all, I wasn't talking about "Ferro DRAM" whatever that is. Ferromagnetic RAM is certainly not dynamic - it doesn't need any refresh by definition.
