Agency Tests Laptop Ruggedness by Walking on Them
Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu (Elcot) uses an unusual way to test laptop computers that it plans to deliver to students in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. It places them on a hard floor and asks people weighing over 80 kilograms to walk all over them to ensure that the computers are rugged and durable.

Few of Google's projects, rumors of projects, and acquisitions have generated as much envy among Linux users as Google Earth. In some respects the search engine behemoth is quite OS-agnostic, but the 3D virtual globe remains limited to Windows desktops.

for users who don't use gnome/kde or other desktop environments, would they like FC5? i found some distributions like ubuntu 5.10 felt slower in everyday use like browsing, file operations and so on.
