A senior hospital manager has been suspended after a laptop computer containing the unencrypted records of over 20,000 patients was stolen from his car whilst he was on holiday.

We've already said quite a few words on this one already, so we are going to leave it at a short announcement today. Today, Monday 30 June 2008, marks the last day of sales for Windows XP , the seven year old operating system a lot of people really don't want to let go.

Andy Martin of The Committee to Fight Microsoft on Tuesday announced his intentions to block Microsoft from releasing its Windows Vista operating system . Martin intends to ask Microsoft for an unconditional warranty that the operating system is free of bugs that could result in security vulnerabilities.
