A few weeks ago, I stubbed my toe on my old Sun Ultra 5 as it sat there lifeless and unused in my apartment. Once my primary desktop, the envy of my geek friends, and a way to woo the ladies, its glory days have long since passed.

Title says it all! Unless all you do is type letters and send and receive emails, what can linux do in most businesses? It's a no show in the manufacturing sector where I come from, so I bet others from different sectors will say the same thing!

MandrakeSoft has recently released the latest version of their desktop operating system. Mandrake Linux 9.2 Download Edition is available on their web site across three ISO files for the Club members. The first disk is about 650megs and the following two are ~700.
