This is the 30th anniversary of USENIX, the Advanced Computer Association . USENIX was started in 1975 as 'The Unix Users Group' and has been holding regular conferences ever since (along with many other activities, of course). USENIX focuses on the Unix world, including unix-like OSes like Linux.

Mae Vion Meyer announces for Bandera County Tax Assessor/Collector
In 1977 I was hired by Tax Assessor Collector Marguerite Stevens and worked for her until 1989. Then in 1989 Bandera County saw a need to automate the county with computers and installed me as the Director of the IT department where I worked under the County Judge.

The ReactOS team has released ReactOS 0.3.0 . There's a massive changelog for this release. You can get 0.3.0 from the SourceForge page . "The ReactOS project is dedicated to making Free Software available to everyone by providing a ground-up implementation of a Microsoft Windows XP compatible operating system.

So should you pay up to $35 for their lowest 5GB plan, you just might be able to actually watch two HD films. Of course you can go over your limit if you're willing to pay $1 per additional gigabyte, a markup over cost of only 1,000 to 1,500% by Time Warner Cable.

While I was trawling through Net Applications' operating system share trend data for the past 24 months, something struck me. June 08 marked a big month for Linux . The OS saw the largest increase in market share for the whole 2 year period - a growth of 0.12%.
