OSNews featured two reviews of the new 12" Powerbook from Apple last month. Using a machine and more fairly evaluating it, is a continuous process, so when new facts emerge, we should be reporting them back. So, what I discovered this weekend is that my 12" Powerbook doesn't like... the mountains.

The aim of the Kimono project on KDE is to write a complete wrapper for KDE/Qt using the Mono framework and is based on early work by KDE bindings hacker Richard Dale. Kimono uses KaXul, a fully XML-based representation of the UI, the Dot reports . However, the changes made to KDE in preparation for Kimono has left the other binding effort, Qt# , orphaned with a dead dependancy: QtC.

Very few IT-companies get as much fanatic anticipation from their customers as Apple does. Lots of words have been written about that, including cheers, rants and advice as to what Apple should do next to make the Macintosh experience even nicer for its fans.

OS News' review of Mac OS X last week certainly stirred up controversy, partially because some die hard Mac fans perceived that it was improper for an outsider (someone who is not an everyday Mac user) to me making broad criticisms after only a superficial introduction to the New operating system.
