Cracking down on internet prescription drugs?
NEW YORK (AP) - A new report is calling for a crackdown on some Internet pharmacies selling controlled prescription drugs on the Web. According to the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University, 159 sites are offering these drugs for sale. It says only two of them are certified as legitimate Internet pharmacy practice sites.

Internet attendant robbed
AN INTERNET café attendant was robbed by two men yesterday dawn at the corner of Roxas Avenue and Quezon Boulevard. The victim was identified as Joyfloyd Jorolan, employee of 3 Angel Computer and Services, and resident of Phase 1, NHA Bangkal, said he was walking in the area around 2 a.m. when he noticed two young-looking men tailing him.

Red Hat is the undisputed commercial leader when it comes to Linux distros. A few years ago more distros were sharing the Linux market/userbase, but these days Red Hat has overcome its competitors in impressions, sales and popularity.

With the new operating system, Microsoft is offering plenty of new graphics tricks, including translucent windows, animated flips between open programs and 'live icons' that show a graphical representation of the file in question.
