A Sarasota County man went to get his computer fixed, and ended up in jail. When the employees of a computer repair shop went to back up the files on 57-year-old Douglas Monk's computer, they found a folder titled 'pre-teen gay porn,' and thousands of graphic images.

MandrakeSoft released Linux Mandrake 9.0 about three weeks ago. How does this version compares to the also recent SuSE and Red Hat releases? MandrakeSoft sent us the Download Edition over for a review and here is what we think about it.

At Microsoft's Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles, Microsoft is planning to provide programmers with the code for an early version of Vista, as well as Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005, both of which will be released in November.
