Wife Charged In Deadly Hammer Attack
Gwen Rice, 78, of Piedmont, has been charged with the murder of her husband, Paul Rice. Deputies say Paul Rice, 77, was playing solitaire on his computer on June 16, when he was hit in the head with a hammer. When authorities arrived, he was found lying in his front yard bleeding.
