Nipomo Alocal woman was arrested on suspicion of endangering her daughter and driving under the influence of drugs Thursday after she slammed into a power pole in her car. Denise Nichols, 46, was driving north on Orchard Road at Grande Avenue about 10:30 a. m. when she veered to the right and hit the pole, according to CHP officials.
