The IT-BPO industry is becoming increasingly alert on fake biodatas. India's largest IT serivces provider, Tata Consultancy Service, has recently asked close to 20 employees at its Kolkata centre to leave after the company, during the background verification, found that these employees have used fudged resumes to get jobs.

Foresight , one of the few distributions using the Conary package management system, which got fame for being the first distribution shipping with GNOME 2.12, has a new release . The author just found out two things, Microsoft exaggerated the Linux threat back when the where being sued for anti competitive behavior and that URLs can brake after 7 or 8 years.

It was just a normal Monday morning in my summer anthropology class, but every student seemed rapt with attention, awake and alert even though the clock had barely struck 10 a.m. Laptop screens shone brightly as hands flew across keyboards, but I doubt more than a handful of students had any idea what the professor was saying.
