Sony adds online movies and TV rental to PlayStation 3
At the ongoing E3 conference, Sony revealed its answer to Xbox Live Video Marketplace, adding online movie sales and rental to PlayStation 3 consoles. And to help persuade people make the most of the service, the company also confirmed that from September, current 40GB consoles would have their storage upped to 80GB.

In November this year, Sony will launch the PlayStation 3. Apparantly, Sony has high expectations for the Linux-powered device, and Sony even claims it will render the PC useless.

NEW YORK -- A Brooklyn man was sentenced Tuesday to 30 months in prison for sending spam e-mails to more than 1.2 million subscribers of America Online in a scheme that foiled the Internet company's spam-filtering system. Adam Vitale, 27, was sentenced in federal court in Manhattan after pleading guilty more than a year ago to breaking anti-spam laws.
