Owensboro police are investigating after a woman reported finding racial slurs, a dead dog and several items missing at a storage garage. The San Marcos police have made two arrests in what they say is the largest case of credit card fraud in memory. When the men were arrested they had 50 credit cards, and close to $30,000 in video games, mp3 players, computers, and clothes.

I first tried Xandros when they released version 1.1. Being quite skeptical, I was unsure what to expect from this spawn of Corel Linux. I must admit in general, I was impressed.

There is a controversy in the Linux world. It doesn't have to do with Microsoft, or anything overtly technical. It may seem, to the outsider, the open source equivalent of the question, "Boxers or briefs?" But it's much more serious than that.
