Dead dog, racial slurs reported in Owensboro
Owensboro police are investigating after a woman reported finding racial slurs, a dead dog and several items missing at a storage garage. Cathy Cotton told the Messenger-Inquirer that she found the dog hanging on a rafter when she went to check on it Saturday. Cotton also reported finding racial slurs spray-painted on walls and a van. Police say largest case of credit card fraud in memory
The San Marcos police have made two arrests in what they say is the largest case of credit card fraud in memory. When the men were arrested they had 50 credit cards, and close to $30,000 in video games, mp3 players, computers, and clothes.

I first tried Xandros when they released version 1.1. Being quite skeptical, I was unsure what to expect from this spawn of Corel Linux. I must admit in general, I was impressed.

There is a controversy in the Linux world. It doesn't have to do with Microsoft, or anything overtly technical. It may seem, to the outsider, the open source equivalent of the question, "Boxers or briefs?" But it's much more serious than that.
