Lightning takes out electronics at jail
FARMINGTON — Repairs are still being made to the St. Francois County Jail from a lightning strike that occurred on July 3. The strike took out the electronic door lock system, the phone system in the jail and in the sheriff’s department, a gas pump, three computers and a bar code evidence tracking system.
