July 18 (Bloomberg) -- Stocks fell in Europe and Asia and U.S. index futures dropped after Merrill Lynch & Co. , Microsoft Corp. and Wipro Ltd. reported disappointing earnings and L'Oreal SA cut its sales forecast.
