Search engine giant Google has renewed its 200,000-square-foot San Francisco office at Hills Plaza for another five years, a $60 million deal that will keep the Mountain View company in the south financial district neighborhood through 2015.

Travel tax scofflaws under gun
McALLEN - Cities in the Rio Grande Valley could join a class-action lawsuit against a slew of popular Internet travel booking sites. The suit, filed in 2006, accuses online booking agents such as Hotels.com and Orbitz of shortchanging as many as 174 municipalities on hotel occupancy taxes.
