PELL CITY — A memorial Web site has been created to honor a police officer who gave his life in the line of duty. Pell City Police Officer Kenneth “Greg” Surles was injured in a collision on June 18, while on routine patrol, at the intersection of U.S. 231 and Cropwell Drive/Kings Circle.

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. - Two Florida Wal-Marts were recently ripped off, and authorities say two men are to blame. Santa Rosa County Sheriff's deputies say the men stole several flat-screen TV's and computers, all during business hours. It happened on July 14th, but the two men are still on the loose.

Screenshots of Office 12 have been published . You'll be amazed (for better or worse, your call). "As you can see, Microsoft is trying to do away with the 'legacy' menu bar. In newer Vista builds the menu bar is turned off by default (although it can be reactivated temporarily by pressing alt).

Jobs introduced today Mac OS X Leopard, built-to-order Xeon-based Mac Pros and XServes. We attended the keynote and we just posted some pictures below. We loved these new Mac beasts, plus Time Machine looked really cool. The rest of the OSX features were mostly evolutionary.
