Q2 revenue at Akamai Technologies grows 27% to $194 million
Revenue at Akamai Technologies Inc., a provider of Internet content delivery services, rose 27% to $194 million for the second quarter ended June 30, up from $152.7 million a year earlier, as the number of customers rose 6% to more than 2,700, the company says.

Keynote Systems’ Q3 revenue grows 18%, as mobile business grows 81%
Revenue at Keynote Systems Inc., which monitors web site and mobile performance, increased 18% year-over-year to $20.5 million from $17.4 million for the fiscal third quarter ended June 30, the company reports. Net loss was $407,000 vs. a net loss of $1.3 million a year ago.

Google Expects to Take a Loss on AOL Stake
Search engine giant Google could see a significant write-down in its $1 billion investment in AOL, the company revealed. "We believe our investment in AOL may be impaired," it says in filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. "There can be no assurance that impairment charges will not be required in the future and any such amounts may be material."
