The California Highway Patrol is asking people to come forward with information about who hit and killed Janette Guzman, 49, of Merced. Guzman died at 10 p.m. Monday when she was crossing Highway 152 at Midway Road in Los Banos. The driver, heading west, didn't see Guzman and drove off, CHP spokesman Mike Panelli said.
