7,000 GCI customers temporarily lose service Wednesday morning
Many people in Anchorage got quite a surprise Wednesday morning when they picked up their phone and there was no dial tone. GCI says 7,000 customers in Anchorage were affected. Most landline service was back up by noon. GCI's high speed Internet also went down, but it was restored Wednesday morning.

This distro was one of the greatest Linux hopes around 2003. But then they began to lose momentum, mainly because of the (very) poor installer. Ark was meant for Linux newbies, but many lost all their data because of the installer.
