Booking camera is high-tech
PARKERSBURG - One camera in town doesn't see many smiling faces. It's the camera in the booking station at the Parkersburg Police Department. Officers use the camera when booking suspects after they make an arrest. The camera is a sophisticated computer terminal that not only captures images, but files them along with accompanying reports in a searchable database, said Police Chief Gerald Board.
